Romans 10:9-10
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
This does not refer to confessing sin. This is confessing Jesus! In his heart man believes, and with his mouth he confesses that Jesus is his Lord.
Ya know, we talk to other people, emphsizing all sorts of emotions and using expletives like they are necessary for conveying a thought or message. But...
Proverbs 6:2
"Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth."
Regardless of what you think your words mean. They in facts are confessions. And I don't mind saying, in spite of Googling cuss words, I really have no idea what language they are from nor what they mean....much less what they do to us by using them. Our confessions, the words we say;....rule and dominate us. Jesus said they did.
Mark 11:23
"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith."
Read these words of Jesus again! Let's look at them a little more. "...whosoever shall say....and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith."
Did Jesus mean this, what He said here? YES! Jesus meant exactly what HE said. And what did he say you'll have? Jesus said you'll have what you said!
If you really believe a thing in your heart- positive or negative, healthy or sick, and you say it with your mouth, you will have it. It's just a matter of time. Your words are seeds for future events.
It is always with the heart that man believes, and with his mouth a confession is made, unto any provision of God.
